When not occupied with his legal duties, Roy L. Mason takes part in many hobbies and activities. First and foremost, Mason dedicates his spare time to his family. He is also passionate about pop culture and is constantly on the lookout for new music. One of his upcoming projects entails the creation of a blog called “New Music for Old People,” which will cater to his peers and feature some of his favorite new artists.. Another pending project involves doing voice-overs and recording audio books for those who the disabled. A fan of both baseball and football, Roy Mason’s favorite teams are the Baltimore Orioles and the Baltimore Ravens.
In addition, Roy L. Mason has committed his time and efforts to community service. He has served as president and a board member for the Manhattan Beach Civic Association, the North Arundel Hospital Foundation, and the Montessori International Children’s House. He has also worked with the Cub Scouts a leader and a Cub Master.
